Associate Professor, Psychological and Brain Sciences
Emily Jacobs holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from UC Berkeley and a B.A. in Neuroscience from Smith College. Prior to UCSB, she was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and the Department of Medicine/Division of Women's Health at Brigham & Women's Hospital. She's been named a Hellman Fellow, a National Institutes of Health "BIRCWH" Women's Health Fellow, a National Academy of Sciences Kavli Frontiers of Science Fellow and Science News 2022 Top 10 Scientists to watch. Her lab uses brain imaging tools to understand how the endocrine system influences the structural and functional architecture of the human brain.
