Katrina Kimport

Katrina Kimport, Ph.D., is Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences of the University of California, San Francisco and Research Sociologist in the Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH) program at UCSF. Her research focuses on the (re)production of inequality, with a particular emphasis on gender and sexuality-based inequality.

In collaboration with Anu Manchikanti Gomez and Coye Cheshire from UC Berkeley, Professor Kimport is working on “Computational Approaches for Understanding and Intervening Upon Misinformation About Contraception and Abortion on Social Media,” with funding from the UC Noyce Initiative.
